18 inch 3-Light Drum Semi Flush Ceiling Light in Dark Bronze XB-SF1199-DB

I purchased this semi-flush mount light fixture to replace a hanging "tuscan" out-dated fixture in my breakfast nook. I have to say that the installation was very difficult and the instructions were poor. It was a 2-hour job for my husband and I, and we have previously replaced fixtures with little problem and in less time. However, once we got it up, it is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for. It could be a bit brighter, but I'm going to replace the CFL bulbs with LED ones. It is a dimmable fixture, and seems to be good quality.

I’m not sure what people here are saying when they say it is difficult to install. I found it very easy to install. Everything fit together perfectly. It is in my home office and rustic look goes beautiful with dark wood desk and shelving units. I needed a bright light for this room and this does not disappoint. I feel it is a bit overpriced at $200…but bought it because the look was right for my office.

Great light

Pros- Nice quality, bright light, attractive fixture. Cons- tricky to install by yourself! We installed it over our kitchen table to replace a hanging light fixture. We are very happy with this light and it provides plenty of light. We do have a dimmer switch.
