Good chandelier - just as described!
This chandelier is just as described, it looks the same as the pictures. I’m having it installed this weekend and think it’ll look great!

A decent, budget mid-century-type fixture (see details). Conditionally recommended
Evaluating things like lighting fixtures from Amazon product pages can be hard. Depending on the amount of, uh... work put into manufacturer's product images, it's hard to know what the thing will look like in person. I would imagine that is one of the reasons why big-box hardware stores still manage to sell tons of light fixtures, despite the uncompetitive selection and pricing (in many cases). When I was looking to replace the lighting fixtures in a formal dining room, I thought the XiNBEi Lighting Chandeliers, Brass Chandelier 5 Light, Pendant Lights with Glass for Living & Dining Room XB-C1210-5-SB was worth a shot. The XiNBEi comes in a large-footprint box. The reason is that the arms come fully assembled to the hub - yay! It's sitting in a big Styrofoam block, which pretty much makes shipping damage impossible. The glass shades are sitting in the Styrofoam in voids. Aside from some Styrofoam mess in the unboxing, the packaging is excellent. Also included are the suspension rods, mounting hardware, and electrical hardware. I unscrewed the shade retainers (they come mounted to the sockets). I then figured out how low I wanted the chandelier to be. From there, you have suspension rods of different lengths that you will screw together to the desired length. I preferred to have the longest rod going into the lighting assembly. You see, the seams are not super-visible, but they are still visible... having the longest rods at the bottom means that there will be fewer seams close to you. I found it easiest to feed the wiring through the rods without first screwing together the rods. Be careful to not have the guard pop into the tube when you feed the wires (it's there to keep the insulation from getting abraded). There's a plate that attaches to your j-box, with two threaded screws that stick down. You need to adjust the length of those screws (with one nut, each) to have the finishing nuts sit properly. The included wire nuts are terrible (pretty much like all throw-in wire nuts), but work. Attaching the lighting/trim plate assembly to the j-box isn't all that hard, but it is easier if you have someone hold the lighting assembly.So... cost cutting measures are the screw-together drop rods, exposed attachment hardware, and unshrouded sockets. You can minimize the drop rod seams as I indicated above. The exposed attachment hardware, along with the fact that it's 2 nuts, instead of 4, means that you could have trim plate fitment issues if you have an improperly seated j-box (but that's probably not that big a deal, and you could counter that by shortening the attachment bolts a little. The unshrouded sockets are not noticeable, unless you mount the chandelier really low.I've included a couple pictures of the end result. One photo is with 4500K Edison-style LED bulbs, while the other is with 2700K Edison-style LED bulbs. I do NOT recommend using "cool" 3500K+ bulbs, as it makes the brass finish look greenish. With "warm" bulbs, the brass looks rich and radiant. Due to the clear shades, I do think that Edison-style bulbs are mandatory. I also think you should go with dimmable bulbs (and a dimmer), since dimmer light pairs well with the vintage look of the fixture. As far as the fixture goes, it's attractive and has decent workmanship and material & finish quality. The shades give off nice, faceted reflections to the ceiling. Assuming you have a "normal" j-box, you can probably ditch your old fixture and mount the new one in about 15 minutes. If you like the vintage, mid-century vibe, you may enjoy this fixture. The main thing is this: this is a budget fixture, so it has the cost-cutting measures that I mentioned above. You can find a fixture that doesn't have those for about 4 times the price. If you're the person that cares about that kind of stuff, then spend more for those details. However, for me, I appreciate the value for the price, and like the fixture quite a bit. Conditionally recommended.

Great if you need something for a lower ceiling
We had our electrician install this and he said he didn't have any issues with it. overall were quite happy with how it looks. We have lower ceilings in our dining room and needed something that could really hug the ceiling and this fit the bill. It provides quite a bit of light, more than I was expecting and I'm quite happy about that.

Good for low ceiling
I loved this chandelier. It has all the things which I was looking for.. good for low ceiling, LED, dimmable & gives good amount of light. The glass texture softens the light too.
